Auburn beats Mississippi State in Football — 3 to 2

When looking over yesterday’s college football scores on Yahoo Sports, I stumbled on this interesting result from yesterday:  Auburn 3, Mississippi State 2.  This final score, which would be reasonable for a hockey game, might be the lowest score I’ve ever seen in a football game.  The minimum theoretical possible winning score would be 2 to 0 ( if one team scored two points for a safety and shuts out the opponent).  Games where one team scores one field goal while the other team fails to score ( 3-0 ) are probably pretty rare, though theoretically possible.
