My $0.02 on the Economy

January 30, 2009

Something is deeply wrong when a New York Times article can describe a decrease in profit for Exxon Mobil and make it sound even remotely like something’s not going well.  The company earned $7.8 billion dollars between October 1 and December 31, 2008.  Plugging in about 306 million for the current US population, that works out to roughly $25 for every human being in the US.

That’s just wrong.
