PG-13 Rated Advertising At Spirit Airlines

The latest attempt by Spirit Airlines to create advertising content that matches the cuteness factor of Southwest’s ads is a sale called “Return of the MILF”.  In the case of Spirit, it stands for “Many Islands, Low Fares” as opposed to “Mother, I’d Love to F___”.

A search on Google for MILF will return a series of pages, many of which contain sexually explicit content.  Why would Spirit want to associate its brand with a pornography term???
