Cool Looking (and Expensive) New Cell Phone on the Horizon

May 1, 2008

The Engadget blog has a recent posting about an up and coming cell phone made by Garmin, well known for making high-quality GPS units for cars.  It will cost $500 and appears to offer full integration between its phone calling, gps navigation, camera, and Internet features.  For instance, when you take photos, the gps location of the photo will be saved along with the photo.

Looks nice, but $500 is quite expensive — even more than an IPhone — so I may want to see the price come down on it before I’ll be really interested.
