Internet from AT&T

June 22, 2007

I’ve certainly been inundated by cute ads about Comcastic internet, and Verizon Online DSL, and Earthlink’s municipal wireless internet service.  However, I chose something else… AT&T’s LaptopConnect service… it’s just a little credit card sized device that fits into a slot on my laptop, and bingo, Internet service anywhere I go for $48 a month ($60 minus 20% discount).  It may seem like a lot, but it’s the only Internet service I’ll need.  No more need to find wireless hotspots, or pay the stupid daily fees to get online at Starbucks and when traveling.
