According to this poll on Southwest Airlines’ blog, most people that fly prefer the window seat. However, a curious 3% of fliers prefer the MIDDLE seat. Surely this must be an example of people randomly picking a choice when they fill out the form.

no stranger, in my opinion, than preferring to be trapped in the window seat.

I know it sounds weird to prefer a middle seat, but the floor area for the middle seat is much bigger than either the window or aisle.
